OAFED Members

OAFED is an association of fire equipment dealers, for fire equipment dealers. Twenty to Twenty-five Oklahoma fire equipment companies of all sizes have worked very hard the past two years to improve our industry by supporting several house and senate bills designed to regulate our industry in the State of Oklahoma. Our membership is growing monthly, but our goal is to have every fire equipment dealer become a member. OAFED members have a common goal; raise standards, improve our image, and insure professionalism. SB98 went into effect November 1st, 2007 and has been fully implemented over the past year.
If your company isn't a member, please consider what OAFED has to offer. Just contact any officer or regional director for additional information, they will be more than happy to assist you. Our meetings are open, and you are welcome to attend a regular meeting and see for yourself how we have come together to improve our industry.

Annual Meeting

Vernon Bolz, Director of the Occupational Licensing Division, for the Oklahoma State Department of Health, called to let us know who was chosen for the Fire Extinguisher Industry Committee. The lay person is Michael Montgomery. Michael is the Director of Risk Management at The University of Oklahoma. The other three are Tom Palmer, President of Automatic Protection Systems in Tulsa, Chad Miller, M&M Fire & Safety in Oklahoma City and Erick Peoples, Safe-T-Pro in Vici.
